West Malling Farmers’ Market has been shortlisted in the Economy category of the prestigious annual Kent Village of the Year Awards run by Action with Communities for Rural Kent. 

Every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday afternoon throughout November, visitors to Bodiam Castle can take advantage of a special Two for One promotion, offering two visitors entry to the castle plus tea and homemade scones for two, for just £5.45pp   (Usually £10.90 pp)

During October half term families can enjoy a whole week of Halloween fun at Bodiam Castle during the Halloween Happenings event between Saturday 23 and Sunday 31 October 2010.

The historic medieval ruins are the perfect eerie location for the week of themed activities taking place between 11am and 3pm each day.

The ‘Spooky Challenge’ takes families on a spine-chilling tour of the castle where they must search for hidden clues to solve the mystery and hunt down the creepy castle character before claiming a ghoulish prize!

Everyone is advised to keep their eyes peeled and their wits about them though, as during their quest they might come across the castle ghost!

Get a taste of the high life at Groombridge Place, near Tunbridge Wells, on 1st August when millions of pounds-worth of sleek, gleaming Ferraris and romantic hot air balloons arrive for one of the most exciting events in the attraction’s calendar.

The Tonbridge Swimming Pool centenary pool party got off to a great start on Saturday when Olympic gold medallist Duncan Goodhew MBE launched the celebrations.
